This is an exciting opportunity to join University of the West of Scotland (UWS), one of Higher Education's most innovative modern universities.

We have 4 vibrant campuses across the West of Scotland as well as a campus in Central London.

We are seeking an experienced confident and self-motivated Talent and OD Consultant to play a key role in the delivery of our workplace engagement provision.

You will plan, design, develop and deliver the University’s staff and management development, leadership and induction programmes using creative and innovative learning methodologies.

You will be engaging and passionate about developing leadership capacity and capability     and will work with managers to ensure that their style and practices are compatible with the organisation’s mission and values. In addition, we are looking for creative solutions to develop talent programmes to meet the needs of a number of critical roles.

The successful individual will be credible and knowledgeable in their field and have a relevant degree or equivalent experience, an appropriate professional qualification and have a proven track record in the design and delivery of training and development to managerial staff. Strong facilitation and interpersonal skills are essential to the role, as is the ability to understand and interpret the training requirements of others. You will also possess an innovative approach to using various up to date learning intervention methodologies and the ability to design and deliver e-learning packages would be desirable. Extensive experience in the areas of interpersonal skills, management skills development, and applying best practices using a variety of organisational development tools are also a requirement.

You will be a team player with exceptional communication skills and the ability to build relationships at all levels. With drive, enthusiasm and tenacity you will be accustomed to operating within a challenging and changing environment.
