You will direct recruitment strategies that promote the university nationally and internationally. Develop the University’s strategy for student recruitment in conjunction with the leaders of Schools, Departments and Institutes, senior management colleagues and the Marketing and Communications Department. You will consistently meet student admissions targets closely aligned to the overall student recruitment strategy.
You will ideally have a well-developed understanding of higher education in the national and international context. Up to date understanding of the wider strategic aspects of student recruitment in HE, and the ability to develop successful marketing strategies. Demonstration of strategic capabilities and tangible evidence of achieving meaningful results at a senior level will be necessary. Furthermore, evidence of understanding and successfully responding to the needs of a broad stakeholder group will be required.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with a diverse group of colleagues and external stakeholders is essential. Experience of undertaking similar previous assignments would be beneficial.
