Challenge yourself in this highly rewarding role by managing staffing resources across multiple locations, and the commercial facilities of the Veterinary Clinical Centre, Small Animal Referral Hospital and the Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory.
Actively help to increase and expand the capacity and capability of the clinical enterprises to enable the University to deliver undergraduate and postgraduate veterinary training and research that supports student learning and teaching outcomes.
This position would ideally suit an individual with a strong business, management or financial background with a track record in the management of administrative, resource and business planning activities. Highly developed communication, interpersonal and influencing skills, including demonstrated ability to establish professional relationships both internally and externally to the organisation are necessary requirements of the role.
Relevant or recent experience working in veterinary practice would be highly regarded.
To be successful you will have:
- A degree with relevant experience (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated experience in financial management with the ability to produce financial reports, interpret data, and to forecast and plan budgets
- High level communication skills with ability to influence, lead and motivate staff
- Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically
