The Service Management Analyst is part of the IT Service Management team, and provides the opportunity to work directly with other members of the team and colleagues across the department, on a range of service management activities which underpin the delivery of customer-focused services to the University. Areas include incident management, change management, problem management, service catalogue, testing, and service asset management. Activities include providing support to process owners, problem solving and service improvement.

The role requires an appreciation of ITIL V3 framework and lifecycle; someone who is prepared to be flexible and has excellent engagement and communication skills along with a drive to ensure that IT service disruption is minimised at all times and that key business critical periods are protected
