Job description

Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise is seeking to appoint an International Student Study Skills Support Tutor. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative and committed to delivering an excellent student experience.

The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team with considerable expertise and experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate course delivery.  It will be expected that the person appointed will have relevant experience in an academic environment. Educated to postgraduate level, or with the equivalent experience, the successful candidate will be expected to support international student with their academic study skills and can deliver study skills sessions covering areas such as academic referencing, critical analysis etc. The successful candidate will have a flexible and innovative approach to teaching and study skills materials and work as part of the team to enhance student success.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be committed to the success of students and demonstrate effective learning, teaching and assessment skills. Good interpersonal skills as well as an ability to work independently and collaboratively are core requirements for this post.
