Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Department of Sociology (Ref.: 498816), to commence as soon as possible for one year.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Sociology/Social Policy or related disciplines with a track record on social mobility, migration, youth employment or other related discipline. They should have proficiency in writing and speaking in both Chinese and English; excellence in analytical evaluation and generation of practical solutions; familiarity with advanced quantitative and qualitative analyses in social sciences research; and the ability to work independently and as a team. The appointee will assist Dr. Xu Duoduo in planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities of her research projects on social mobility, education, employment and migration; oversee data collection, data analysis and draft reports; supervise Research Assistants; and perform other duties as assigned.
