Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in the School of Public Health (Ref.: 498817), to commence as soon as possible on a two-year or three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree, with solid full-time teaching experience in higher education.  The appointee will coordinate academic curriculum for MBBS/MPH modules including practicum placements, student support services and accreditation review exercises.  He/She will also teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in medicine, allied health, healthcare management and policy; conduct problem-based learning and evidence-based practice tutorials;  develop and teach common core courses; undertake other teaching-related duties; contribute to research projects; and assist in publications where necessary.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.  The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
