About the position

The Office of Learning and Teaching (OLT) at Bond University is responsible for leading and supporting the development and implementation of strategies, programs and initiatives to assure excellence in the student learning experience and to enhance the capabilities of the University’s academic staff in relation to the design, development, implementation and evaluation of teaching, curricula, and resources to support learning and/or teaching. OLT are currently looking to appoint an experienced and professional Technology Enhanced Learning Designer to join their team.

The Technology Enhanced Learning Designer is responsible for coordinating Faculty technology-enhanced learning design and teaching supports. They are also responsible for delivering customised professional development, staff professional learning assistance, and technology enhanced learning services to Faculty.

Reporting to the Director, Office of Learning and Teaching this position will actively support quality teaching, innovation and individual capability in relation to learning and teaching, focusing on building academic staff capacity and capability specifically in digital literacy, online/e-learning, learning design and embedding technology into teaching to improve the student learning experience.

About the person:

The successful candidate will have a Bachelor’s level degree or higher in Education or relevant area of study along with experience designing interactive, multimedia eLearning instructional content. They will be able to integrate adult learning theory and instructional design methodology into an appropriate combination of delivery modes and methods.

Demonstrated high level interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities is also essential. The ability to design and facilitate learning through the use of Blackboard LMS for blended learning is desired.

Salary details:

Remuneration for the appointment will commence at $81,892 plus 9.5% superannuation per annum.
