The scope of the researcher position is supporting the project team to collect and analyze the field data from the project obtained with the MultiPACK units. The units are new energy efficient plug-and-play units for supermarkets and other high energy demanding building. These units reduce the specific energy consumption by more than 25%, simultaneously reducing the total cost of ownership. The MultiPACK project is a scientific-supported introduction of innovative packages, all parts made in Europe, applying the natural working fluid CO2 and the latest efficiency enhancing technologies. These units are validating the suitability of the CO2 heat pumping and refrigeration technology for warm climate applications.

The Head of the Department is Professor Terese Løvås. The position’s supervision is by Prof. Dr. Ing. Armin Hafner, coordinator of the MultiPACK project.
