Salary: £43,660 to £51,687 per annum - including London Allowance

Full Time, Fixed-Term (12 months)
Working closely with the Director of Governance & Legal Services and Secretary to Council, you will be supporting the continuing development of high quality legal services provision at Royal Holloway, University of London.
You will be a solicitor or barrister with at least 4 years’ PQE gained in a highly regarded law firm or in-house environment, with a demonstrable passion for the public sector and/or charity sector. It is anticipated that the Assistant Legal Counsel will focus primarily on commercial contracts, but you will be expected to be able to advise on the full range of legal issues that arise across the College, including employment, data protection, litigation and student matters. The ability to communicate professionally and effectively with internal stakeholders of all seniority levels, up to and including the Executive team, is essential.

The post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
