Overview:

Picture a job that blends public service with a commercial mindset, where you work with the brightest minds to create a future we can all be proud of.

Queen Mary University of London is a leading global university with a difference. We are one of the UK’s top research universities, committed to improving social justice and achieving the previously unthinkable. The Marketing and Communications Directorate is responsible for raising the awareness and reputation of Queen Mary among its target audiences, and for increasing the quality and quantity of Queen Mary applicants.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Student Acquisition Senior Executive with a passion for all things marketing to join our UK Student Recruitment team. This is a new role working alongside the Acquisition and Campaign Marketing Manager. You will be responsible for running successful lead generation campaigns that will increase Queen Mary’s brand awareness and attract students to apply at our University. You will also run activities and develop content that converts these leads into registered students.

We are looking for someone with a track record in delivering end-to-end campaigns using multiple platforms including digital, web, email, print and outdoor. You’ll need to have experience in executing communications plans through CRM platforms and have strong copywriting and proofreading skills. With universities operating in a more competitive environment, you will need to be proactive and introduce innovative ideas based on data and insight. You will be keen to collate campaign data across multiple channels and report on impact against activities and defined KPI targets.

If you are passionate about impactful marketing and communications, and impatient to make a difference, we look forward to receiving your application.

The post is a full time and permanent position. Starting salary will be in the range £34,220 – £40,194 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
