OVERVIEW

THE ROLE

Currently the Law Discipline is seeking to appoint one Professorial appointment (Level E) or an Associate Professor (Level D) to bring strategic and leadership capability along with proven academic standing in the discipline of Law to contribute to the continued growth of the Discipline. The successful candidate will be expected to develop and deliver across both Priestley and non-Priestley units; build the Doctorate intake and be actively involved in developing early career researchers within the discipline. The applicant will be expected to make a significant contribution to the Discipline’s research profile by producing high-quality research and actively participating in research communities.

Applicants should have a first degree in Law (L.L.B) and a doctoral qualification in Law. Applicants should be outstanding academics with an international reputation as leaders in their field. The applicants must also have a demonstrated ability to develop collaborations and secure external grants.

This full time, ongoing position attracts $146,917 – $161,526 (ALEVD) OR $188,321 (ALEVE) pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
