The IT Services department provides information systems development and support, IT infrastructure, and IT services for staff and students. The ITS Finance Systems team forms part of Application Team which also includes HR, Administration / Estates and Library systems.

A vacancy has arisen in the ITS Finance Systems team to assist in the delivery, support and development of the Finance applications.

The post will suit someone with experience in the support and application of these types of systems and related technologies. 

The post-holder will be able to work on their own initiative within the context of the ITS Finance systems team and the wider context of ITS Applications Delivery.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Provide support to the Financial system users
  • Manage the requests for support within the Finance systems team
  • Work closely with the ITS Help Desk
  • Contribute to the delivery of a rich experience across the Finance applications

Experience of the Agresso Business World system is desirable. Also experience of working within a University or other educational context will be considered advantageously.

This is a full time and fixed-term role for up to one year and is available as a result of maternity cover. While it is expected that you will hold the role for the full period, should the post-holder on maternity leave exercise her right to return to work earlier, then this appointment will be terminated, subject to a notice period of one month.

Starting salary will be in the range of £34,220 - £40,194 per annum inclusive of London Allowance. Benefits include 30 days annual leave, comprehensive pension scheme and interest-free season ticket loan.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate their eligibility to work in the UK in accordance with the Immigration, Asylum and Nationality Act 2006. Where required this may include entry clearance or continued leave to remain under the Points Based Immigration Scheme.
