BUSINESS MANAGER, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T)-Finance, to provide administrative and technical support for project management operations, including resource planning and allocation, budget development, procurement, IT compliance, and organizational development and planning.  Will ensure the development and execution of IS&T organizational standards and strategic planning in partnership with IS&T leadership; provide IT project portfolio support through cost estimation, proposal preparation and submission, program funding updates, budget expenditure authorizations, and proactively monitoring the financial health of the IT project portfolio; and play a key role in IS&T’s resource and talent management to ensure operations and strategic planning are aligned with customer and business needs.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field; at least five years’ relevant experience; experience with ERP tools (e.g., SAP, Coupa, etc.); experience with data reporting tools (e.g., Cognos, Tableau, etc.); advanced Microsoft Office skills, primarily Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; thorough understanding of project management processes and methodologies, including project budgeting, forecasting, reporting, time collection, and accounts payable; excellent time management, organizational, analytical, mathematical, presentation, and verbal and written communication skills; and attention to detail.  Must be able to work effectively with and influence a diverse audience at all levels; prioritize deadlines in support of customer and business needs; work collaboratively with other members of formal and informal teams in pursuit of common goals; define and organize responsibilities and priorities; problem-solve issues and obstacles; interpret statistical information; and function independently with minimal guidance.

PREFERRED: experience in higher education or technology and knowledge of the financial framework in a higher education environment.  Job# 18070-10
