About the position

Reporting to the IT Program Manager, this position has responsibility for the delivery and management of delegated IT Projects. This includes ensuring that projects are actioned within the required scope, budget and are delivered within the required timeframes. The IT Project Manager will facilitate, build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders in order to achieve quality outcomes and a high level of customer satisfaction.

This position will develop project plans and appropriate documentation, facilitate and track tasks assigned to the project team as well as implement processes and change management activities relative to the assigned projects. The Project Manger may also be required to undertake analyst functions, such as requirements gathering and process mapping.

About the person:

To be considered for this appointment you will be degree qualified in an appropriate discipline and possess strong experience in project management and managing IT projects. The ability to work on several projects simultaneously, excellent time management and prioritisation skills are essential for success in this appointment.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as exceptional communication skills are also required. An ability to understand IT systems and processes, knowledge of applications development, integrations and data migration will be an advantage as would experience and knowledge of university business processes, policies and systems.

Salary details:

The full time salary for this position will commence at $97 987 inclusive of 9.5% superannuation per annum.
