Location:  Avery Hill campus
Salary:  £27,511 to £32,817 plus £4800 London weighting per annum
Contract Type:  Permanent
Closing Date:  Thursday 17 October 2019
Interview Date:  To be confirmed

An opportunity has arisen for a Student Records Co-ordinator, in the Admissions and Student Records Team in Student and Academic Services. The role will be primarily based at our Avery Hill campus, although from time to time the postholder will be required to travel to the Greenwich Maritime and the Medway Campuses (transport is provided by the university).

University of Greenwich International College (UGIC) is an associate college of the University of Greenwich (UoG), operated by Oxford International Education Group (OIEG). UGIC provides international students with the ability to study the initial stages of integrated undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, as an entry route to full University of Greenwich awards.

The Operations Officer (UGIC) will play a key role in ensuring that registration, records and support are delivered effectively to UGIC students as they progress into the University and from UGIC to University of Greenwich programmes.  The post-holder will be responsible for co-ordinating a range of administrative duties associated with the maintenance of student and applicant records on the university’s Student Records System (Banner).  The post requires meticulous attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure and a customer-focused approach.  The successful applicant will bring previous experience of working in a busy and demanding office environment, ideally including working with a computerised record system.  Experience of project management and/or business process design would also be beneficial.

For an informal discussion about the role, please contact Nicola Burrowes; tel 020 8331 9535; n.g.burrowes@gre.ac.uk.
