IT SUPPORT SPECIALIST, Information Systems and Technology (IS&T), to work directly with customers in-person and via telephone, email, and chat to identify support issues; and with vendors, development teams, and IS&T/MIT service owners to resolve those issues.  Will work with a broad range of infrastructure products and basic networking components; provide support, maintenance, and guidance for moderate to highly complex client products, sometimes working on multiple projects concurrently as a team member; and assist with the implementation of new administrative products and services and share responsibility for support and maintenance of existing systems.

Job Requirements

REQUIRED: a high school diploma or its equivalent; a minimum of four years of relevant experience; experience supporting Mac, Windows, iOS, and Android platforms and diagnosing/resolving problems across their software, hardware, and managed service product lines; experience with common IT ticketing platforms, preferably Service Now; ability to be flexible and adaptive in a fast-paced environment; diagnostic skills and working knowledge of current technology to resolve escalated customer complaints without the need for manager intervention; excellent verbal and written communication skills; customer service skills for responding to clients’ requests for assistance on day-to-day needs; and the ability to work within a team setting by supporting team decisions, assisting other team members, and sharing work to meet goals and deadlines.
