We are seeking a highly motivated research assistant to work towards understanding the contribution of glial cells to neurodegeneration. The position is available in the laboratory of Maria Jimenez-Sanchez at the Maurice Wohl Clinical Neuroscience institute and aims to explore the role of molecular chaperones in astrocytes in the context of Alzheimer’s disease.
This project will involve use primary rodent glia cultures as well as molecular, biochemical and cell biological approaches, experience in all these techniques is required.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 12 months
This is a full-time post - 100% full time equivalent.
