About The Role

Join RMIT and be involved with all aspects of Traineeship program delivery to ensure students have a rewarding learning experience. Specifically, you will contribute to designing learning material, sequencing content using RMITs systems and participating in course review. The VE Teacher (Traineeship, IT) role will also see you collaborate with your stakeholders to uphold best practices in learning methods. Additionally, the role requires you to promote the schools services to clients while actively liaising with the schools industry partners to promote innovative learning.

About You

You will be a self-starter who is comfortable with delivering high-quality programs to students. Furthermore, you will be actively involved with the learning outcomes of students and be confident in discussing learning matters in a professional manner. You will also develop and maintain industry connections whilst promoting RMITs services which will be pivotal to your success in this role. Demonstrated industry experience in IT with comprehensive skills and discipline knowledge will be highly regarded.

Preferred: Diploma level qualification in Information Technology or higher are preferred and the appointee must hold:

  • TAE40116 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or its successor; or
  • TAE40110 - Certificate IV in Training and Assessment plus the following units:
    • TAELLN411 or TAELLN401A and
    • TAEASS502 or TAEASS502A or TAEASS502B as a minimum qualification.
