The South West Doctoral Training Partnership (SWDTP) is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) and comprises the Universities of Bristol, Bath, Exeter, Plymouth and the University of the West of England. We are seeking to recruit an Administrative Assistant to join our small team, based in the Bristol offices.

Reporting to the SWDTP Administrator, the postholder will provide day-to-day administration duties to support all activities within the hub. This will mean working with professional services staff, academics and students across the five partner sites. The DTP Administrative Assistant will support the Director and Manager with general administrative support including arranging meetings and travel, as well as undertaking other duties related to updating our website, social media presences and organising events. There are a range of processes that require administrative support and we are often developing new activities to innovate our offer to our students and stakeholders. If you have administrative experience and are keen to further develop your skillset, you are warmly invited to apply for this position within our friendly team.

Interviews will take place at the University of Bristol on 5th November 2019.

For informal enquiries, please contact Joanna Williams (SWDTP Administrator) by e-mail at Joanna.williams@bristol.ac.uk

Closing date for applications is midnight on Tuesday 22nd October 2019.

We welcome applications from all members of our community and are particularly encouraging those from diverse groups, such as members of the LGBT+ and BAME communities, to join us.
