About this scholarship

Are you passionate about solving problems, generating enterprising and innovative solutions and helping businesses thrive in the competitive landscape?

If so, a research degree may be just what you were looking for!

The UniSA Business School is seeking scholarship applicants interested in undertaking a Masters by Research or Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in the research areas of Commerce, Law, Management, or Marketing.

Ranked in the top 1% worldwide*, our research is recognised as world-class in business and management, applied economics, accounting, law, marketing and tourism^.

Home to a range of established expert groups including the Ehrenberg-Bass Institute for Marketing Science and Centre for Workplace Excellence, we are interested in better understanding research questions related to how brands grow, how individual choice affects society, leadership and organisational effectiveness, creating dynamic economies, developing global partnerships, informing practices in tourism and leisure, and business growth. Make sure you take a look at our wide list research topics and contact the relevant primary supervisor(s) for further information.

During your studies, you will create new knowledge under the guidance of renowned academics and highly experienced supervisors, engage with industry, government and education providers to influence decision-making, and benefit from links with global institutions.

Our PhD also provides opportunities for enhanced skills development through the transformed PhD (tPhD) where you will interact with leaders across fields, engage with end-users and present your research to a panel of multidisciplinary experts.

A Research Training Program Domestic (RTPd) scholarship will support you to investigate, design and execute innovative research to address real-world business problems.

Study areas: Accounting/Applied Economics/Finance/Human Resources and Organisational Behaviour/International Business/Law/Management and Corporate Social Responsibility/Marketing/Property/Sports, Tourism and Leisure Management
