About the role

The Office of Planning, Quality and Review (PQR) supports the University through: conducting quality assurance and organisational reviews; providing support and advice regarding compliance with external legislation and TEQSA requirements; assist reporting on institutional performance against the University’s Strategic Plan; reporting data to external agencies; providing data to underpin and assist decision making; and conducting surveys and collating feedback from students.

The Senior Manager, Compliance will provide advice and support the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic) and other Executive portfolio areas to improve University performance. This is an important leadership role that will provide direction to the Planning Quality and Review team to manage the University’s academic compliance, quality, and review operations.

About you

We are seeking applications from candidates who have a thorough understanding of the Australian university sector and associated compliance, legislation and registration processes. You will have excellent communication and negotiation capabilities which will enable you to effectively engage stakeholders and influence evidence-based decision making.

You will have demonstrated expertise in complex data analysis, reporting and strategic planning in the higher education environment. As an engaged and inspiring leader, you will drive performance and innovation to enhance PQR activities.
