Associate Professor, Professor

The department was founded in 2000 on the basis of the State Institution Scientific Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences (currently - the Federal State Budgetary Institution "National Medical Research Center for Obstetrics, Gynecology and Perinatology named after Academician V.I. Kulakov" of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation Federation) -  the country's leading institution engaged in the development of new promising technologies for diagnosis and treatment in obstetrics, gynecology and perinatology which provides highly qualified medical care for gynecological patients, pregnant women and newborns, as well as plans, forecasting and coordination of scientific research in Russia in the field of obstetrics and gynecology.

University is looking for highly motivated candidates with expertise in the following fields:

Obstetrics. Gynecology, Perinatology and Reproduction

The candidate’s responsibilities will include: conducting lectures, seminars, workshops, practicums, laboratory classes, group consultations and/or individual work with students; monitoring learning achievements of students, carrying out research works on the research filed of the Department; writing and publishing scientific papers in the highest-ranking scientific journals indexed by the Web of Science and/or Scopus systems.

Please note that on this position an essential requirement for this position is the submission over the course of one year of employment of not less than three research papers for publication in a leading peer-reviewed scientific journals (Q1-Q2) indexed by the Web of Science and

/ or Scopus systems with the University affiliation indicating herself/himself as an employee of the Sechenov University.

Desired skills and experience:

  • Candidates must have

PhD/ MD degree;

  • Hirsh Index not less than 30
  • Publishing experience in journals Q1-Q2 over the past 2 years
  • At least three years experience in related field
  • Fluent English is a must
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Full-/part-time employment for one year with possibility of extension;
  • Accommodation at University’s campus;
  • Economy class return flight cost recovery from the place of your living to Moscow (no more than 4 times a year)
  • Competitive salary up to RUB.150000 net (approximately 2400 $) per month (in case of full-time employment) depending on your experience, qualification and scientific performance indicators as well as working conditions.
  • Full administrative support of qualified mentors and University Staff
