About the position

In this role you will develop curriculum, teach and undertake research or other scholarly work relevant to the development to the discipline. You will primarily be teaching and coordinating the Master of Dentistry including subject coordination, curriculum design and supporting the year coordinators in their teaching. Provide leadership in course level curriculum design and development. Lead or manage professional teams or research groups and seek research funding from contracts, grants or consultancies. Engage in scholarly activities and maintain professional practice skills and knowledge. You will also conduct or lead administrative and committee responsibilities.

Skills and Experience

To be considered for this role you will have completed a higher degree in the field of health, dentistry or oral health and be registered or eligible to register with the AHPRA as a dental practitioner. Leadership and administrative skills are essential. You must have proven effectiveness in curriculum development and teaching and have a record of successful research student supervision. A record of achievement as a leading practitioner and the capacity to provide leadership is also essential.
