Applications are invited for the post of Marketing Manager (Research) in the Directorate of Marketing & Communications at of Royal Holloway, University of London.

The Marketing team is responsible for motivating and engaging target external audiences by identifying, bringing to life and effectively expressing Royal Holloway’s stories through a variety of channels in the most inspiring, impactful and relevant way.

This new, fixed-term post will work in close conjunction with members of the university’s Marketing & Communications and Research & Innovation teams, at an exciting and strategically-important time. The Marketing Manager (Research) will have particular responsibility for developing the presence of the university’s research activity on its website, targeting specified external audiences, in the lead up to the next Research Excellence Framework (REF) exercise in 2021.

You’ll be an experienced marketing or communications professional, with a track record of developing detailed communications strategies based on an understanding of objectives, and an ability to effectively convey complex information to a range of audiences. With hands-on experience of the full marketing mix, you’ll have particular expertise in presenting information in digital environments. If you’re an excellent communicator, have proven ability to work collaboratively and with stakeholders at all levels, and are self-motivated and persuasive, we would like to hear from you.
