About the Job

As the Research Associate, you will contribute to the research activities of the Applied Chemistry and Translational Biomaterials (ACTB) Group and the School of Pharmacy and Medical Sciences (PMB). You will play a key role in leading research initiatives, building capacity, working with industry collaborators, and generating high quality research outputs and publications.

Skills and Experience

To be successful, you will have a post graduate qualification in synthetic chemistry (or related field), and relevant research experience as well as a strong theoretical and practical background in synthetic and analytical chemistry. With excellent research and project management skills, you will be able to successfully initiate, plan and manage projects and work cooperatively in a diverse research team. A well-established record of writing, preparing and publishing peer-reviewed articles in quality journals commensurate with opportunity, will be essential.
