We are looking for a well-organised, confident and proactive research administrator with strong communication and interpersonal skills to support the Bristol Digital Futures Institute (BDFI). This new flagship Institute will transform the way we understand and create digital technologies for economic and social prosperity in future societies.
You will plan activities undertaken within BDFI and provide support to academic staff, researchers, postgraduate students and project partners. This is a varied role and tasks will include: budget monitoring; maintaining project websites; project administration and reporting; event management (from meetings to conferences); organising travel and research meetings, gathering information and copy for marketing materials and future research bids; managing key relationships across the University and with external contacts. This opportunity would suit an enthusiastic and self-motivated individual who is comfortable working on a varied portfolio of projects and activities and is able to plan and prioritise workloads successfully.
The position is offered on a full-time basis with an open-ended contract and guaranteed funding until 30.09.2020. Subject to funding availability, the post will be extended.
