Make a difference, every day, to the lives of our staff and students.

In a crowded and competitive Higher Education landscape we must go further to make ourselves and our important work heard by all our varied markets. That’s why we need your creativity, passion for marketing and extensive experience to help us meet this challenge.

About the role

You will take the lead in defining, distilling and projecting the University’s distinctiveness to a range of recruitment audiences and stakeholders, tailoring messaging to be relevant and compelling to individual markets.

Effectively communicating and working with colleagues across the University and leading a range of professional marketing teams you will provide overall leadership, marketing direction and support to ensure that student recruitment targets are met.

This role will appeal to marketing professionals in a similar role or to those with a strong track record looking to develop their career and move into a senior role.

About you

You will be a highly experienced marketer, expert at delivering tailored messaging to a range of audiences and markets. You will be passionate about the importance of excellent marketing communications and have a compelling vision for how the University’s online presence can be further developed to support brand, market development and student recruitment. You will be confident in using data and insight to target and evaluate activity and when you need to use evidence to persuade colleagues to try something new, you’ll be adept at explaining the why and how, and you’ll do it convincingly.

Rewards/Benefits

Working at Edge Hill means working in a distinctly empowering environment, where culture and collaboration are valued above traditional process-driven thinking. This is a workplace where you can really make a difference.

As a senior colleague at Edge Hill University you will have access to a generous pension scheme, with optional corporate healthcare and extensive development opportunities.
