About the position
The Senior Communication Advisor will play a key role in contributing to the profile of the four schools and the College. Reporting to the College Executive Officer, this position will prepare, review and refine digital content about the Schools, the College, the courses they offer and the research they carry out. The Senior Communication Advisor is responsible for creating high-quality written content appropriate for digital channels, tailored to meet the information needs of specific audiences.
The position will contribute to a range of projects supporting student recruitment and reputation management, and will research and obtain content from multiple sources and translate facts into compelling text. The position will also effectively manage the delivery of a wide range of communication channels and work collaboratively with other colleagues and School staff.
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this position, you will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, including significant experience in writing, editing and producing multimedia web and social media content, as well as repurposing exisiting content to suit digital channels. Strong creativity and problem solving skills are also essential. You will have previous experience in publishing digital content using and CMS and other digital publishing systems.
