Assistant Programme Development Manager
King’s Summer Programmes is an institutional, cross-faculty unit that provides creative business development to drive forward summer programming, attracting new audiences to the university and turning creative capital in faculties into educational products.
Our portfolio currently includes flagship undergraduate and pre-university summer schools, bespoke programmes for international partners, short courses and overseas programmes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a proactive and motivated individual to join an innovative and ambitious team at one of the world’s leading universities. The Assistant Programme Development Manager will support the Programme Development Manager with the project management and day-to-day programme-related development of the portfolio of Summer Programmes from planning to delivery. The post-holder will have responsibility for the successful coordination and delivery of specific programmes within the portfolio, ensuring that programmes align with agreed College procedures and facilitating an outstanding standard of delivery and student experience.
This is a busy and varied role, that requires prioritising and progressing multiple projects towards deadlines. Successful candidates will have demonstrable programme, project and/or event management experience, preferably within an educational context, and an ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.
Working across a matrix organisational structure, you will have strong communication skills and the ability to influence, negotiate and build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. With strong organisational and problem-solving skills, you will enjoy bringing new ideas and creative approaches to business development and operations.
