About the Job

As the Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Accounting, you will make a significant contribution to the School of Commerce, playing a leading role in teaching, research and professional activities, with specific expertise in Auditing.

You will contribute to the development and teaching of high-quality undergraduate, postgraduate (including MBA), and online course offerings in Accounting and Auditing. You will also drive high-quality research, secure research funding and supervise research students in the field.

Skills and Experience

With a doctorate in Accounting (or related discipline) you will bring specific expertise in auditing, and experience undertaking research as evidenced by publications in quality refereed and/or high Impact journals. You will be an expert in teaching and learning, with a track record of high quality, flexible teaching, in both traditional and contemporary modes of delivery, including the use of teaching technology. A capacity and commitment to supervise Masters and PhD students will be essential.

To be successful at the Senior Lecturer appointment, will you be capable of providing academic leadership in the development, management and delivery of undergraduate and postgraduate programs and courses level as well as experience in delivering online and executive education offerings.
