The University of Central Lancashire wishes to recruit an Accounts Receivable (Customer Accounts) Manager to manage a busy operational and customer facing team with significant transactional processing activities. The successful candidate will have experience of managing staff including their workloads and activities and will help develop and add value to the service and the promotion of best practice.
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified or hold an equivalent Professional Finance or business related qualification and will require significant knowledge and experience of AR processing, credit control, debt recovery, reporting and reconciliation activities in a high volume environment. In addition, the candidate must have experience of working with debt collection agencies and networking extensively.
Utilising excellent organisational and administration skills, the successful applicant will have the ability to manage and prioritise workloads, work under pressure, deal with complex problems and issues as well as meet tight deadlines. Applicants must be able to promote adherence to controls and implement financial policies and procedures.

Core opening hours are 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with some flexible working when required.
