An opportunity has arisen within the School of Community Health and Midwifery for a Lecturer to join our highly committed Sexual Health team. The successful applicant will be enthusiastic and visionary, keen to shape education and influence the student experience in a positive manner.
Applicants should be educated to graduate level in a relevant subject discipline and be working towards a relevant Masters qualification. The main focus of teaching will be to support students studying our sexual health studies courses. Recent experience of working within a Sexual Health environment and the demonstration of a sound knowledge and understanding of the contemporary wider sexual health and/or public health agenda are essential to this post.
In addition, you will be committed to the success of your students and be able to show that you can effectively support learning and teaching in the classroom. A flexible, innovative approach to teaching, learning and assessment as well as knowledge of the changing educational environment is essential. A teaching qualification would be an advantage and experience in higher education. There will be an expectation that the successful candidate will lead academic modules and teach across a range of courses.
