Job description
Lancashire School of Business and Enterprise is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Leadership and Management to join the Management, Leadership and Tourism group. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic, innovative and committed to delivering an excellent student experience.
The successful candidate will join a highly motivated team with considerable expertise and experience in both undergraduate and postgraduate course delivery in the subject of leadership & management. It will be expected that the person appointed will be familiar with contemporary developments in their discipline and will be able to contribute to a range of courses as well as acting as module leader and dissertation tutor. Experience of developing high quality learning and teaching materials is also essential.
The successful candidate will have a good honours degree or equivalent in a relevant area, a relevant Masters qualification and a PhD (or equivalent) or nearing completion in a relevant area.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be committed to the success of students and demonstrate effective learning, teaching and assessment skills. Good interpersonal skills as well as an ability to work independently and collaboratively are core requirements for this post.
