Organisational Unit: School of Education
Appointment type: Continuing appointment, with flexibility for the successful candidate/s to nominate a part-time or full-time placement.
Remuneration: A remuneration package of up to $109,325 per annum (inclusive of base salary $69,275-$93,440 per annum and 17% employer's contribution to superannuation). Candidates who hold a PhD qualification will have a minimum remuneration package of $101,971.
Pro-rata for part-time appointments.

About the role
The Early Career Development Fellow will be employed as an Associate Lecturer in Education and undertake student centred teaching practice and development in initial teacher education, and contribute to the profile of the School through research activities, publications and industry and community engagement.
This position is a designated Early Career Development Fellowship offered for a fixed term period of three years. To be eligible for appointment, you must have been awarded a PhD or made satisfactory progress towards completion of a PhD. As well, you must have performed casual teaching work for an Australian University in, and for the majority of, three teaching sessions over the preceding two years.
The successful candidate can nominate a part-time or full-time placement, and Coffs Harbour, Gold Coast or Lismore campus as their location. The University may make two appointments as part of this recruitment process.

This position is only open to employees of Australian Universities who are employed on a current casual contract at the date of publication of this advertisement.
To be successful in this role you will hold, or be working towards, a PhD in Education. You will be committed to the enhancement of the student experience and graduate outcomes, displayed by your innovative and energetic approach to teaching.
