The Department of Applied Social Studies has programmes of teaching, research and public engagement in community and youth work, social policy and social work.
We are seeking to recruit an Administrative Officer who will report directly to the Head of Department and who will lead the administrative functions of the Department.
The role will involve the provision and coordination of high-level administrative support to academic and professional staff, alongside occasional staff, undergraduate and postgraduate students and postdoctoral researchers. The role involves interaction with other University units, external institutions, organisations and services.
Administrative Officer Grade II Salary Scale: €37,976 – €54,647 p.a. (9 points)
Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.
*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above scale.
