This post is open to internal candidates currently employed within Student Education Service at the University of Leeds only.

Working as part of the University Student Education Service, reporting to a senior member of the Quality Assurance Team, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of portfolio management functions for a Faculty.  You will work in close partnership with the Quality Assurance Team, School Education Service Managers, Functional leads, Academic Leads and the Faculty Education Service Manager to lead, shape, develop and manage the Faculty’s portfolio of taught student education.  You will require strong leadership skills to be able to drive change and take forward the Faculty and University vision for the portfolio of programmes, to ensure they are viable and deliver an exceptional student experience.  You will work in partnership with the School Education Service Managers to manage portfolio development plans and related Quality Assurance processes.  You will manage and service committees and groups, lead portfolio, programme and module review processes, and support new programme and module approval and implementation at both faculty and institutional level. You will provide professional advice and guide decision making on enhancements to the Faculty and University portfolio of programmes to improve the student experience. 

In this client focused role you will contribute to Faculty level plans and University quality assurance activities within Student Education, working collaboratively with colleagues across the University, facilitating good communication, building positive working relationships and delivering results.  Setting key priorities, managing and harmonising processes across the Quality Assurance function, you will support continuous process improvement for both the Faculty and the University, sharing good practice and encouraging knowledge exchange.
