An exciting opportunity has arisen for a well-organised individual to provide administrative support for research, events and communications in the Faculty of Arts. Through the Arts Matter Campaign (http://www.bristol.ac.uk/arts/arts-matter/), they promote the activities of the Faculty to a range of different audiences, which include potential and existing staff, students, partners and alumni. They organise research and other faculty events and oversee a number of different communication mechanisms, preparing content and materials to promote Faculty achievements and activities. They also promote and support the work of the Faculty Research Centres.

The person appointed must be highly organised, flexible and an excellent communicator with the ability to promote the Faculty via a range of different mechanisms. They must be a self-starter who can seek out interesting stories and they must have ability to develop effective relationships with staff at all levels within the University and beyond.
