The University of Bristol Campus Division is seeking to appoint an exceptional individual as our Assistant Site Services Manager (supporting the Cleaning Operations Manager and Estates Support Manager).

The individual will join our Site Services team (comprising 300+ staff) in this newly created post and will act as the day to day lead on operational delivery, dealing proactively with complaints and performance, and liaising with university colleagues to ensure delivery of cleaning services and estates support services (reception, portering, compliance testing) within the University.

This role provides a fantastic opportunity to get involved in delivering a diverse range of Soft FM services, whilst developing skills in other aspects such as contract management and the opportunity to get involved in small and major building projects.

The successful candidate will be a dynamic individual, a problem solver, good with people, have a ‘can-do’ attitude and possess a proven track record in managing staff and delivering Soft FM services. Furthermore, the successful candidate will be comfortable working as part of a large and diverse team with a proven ability to persuade and influence with their excellent communication and presentation skills.
