Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind is a highly regarded, innovative local Charity working alongside people with mental health problems and dementia to improve their quality of life. With an annual turnover of more than £3m, over 120 staff and 200 volunteers, we are one of the largest charities in the Mind network.

This exciting opportunity has emerged as a result of a brand new two-year project: ‘Building Mentally Healthy Universities.’ The programme will be taking place at ten Universities and is funded by ‘Goldman Sachs Gives’. Bromley, Lewisham & Greenwich Mind will be working closely with Greenwich University to deliver wellbeing workshops/training to students and staff within the University, and to train students to continue the programme into future years.

The project coordinator will be required to manage and develop the project. Working alongside colleagues at the University of Greenwich, you will promote the programme, identify and recruit students and staff to participate, organise logistics of the sessions and undertake some of the training delivery. Ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the project is also a key part of this work.

Applicants should have experience of training/facilitation alongside strong project management and interpersonal skills.

Qualified to degree level or equivalent, you will have experience of working with students and/or people with mental health problems. The successful candidate will be required to work across multiple locations in order to meet the needs of the project.

Successful applicants will be expected to undergo an Enhanced Level Disclosure and Barring Service check.
