Applications are invited for the post of Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer based in the Directorate of Marketing and Communications.

Royal Holloway, University of London is a pioneering university, steeped in history and culture, yet constantly evolving and adapting to the demands of modern higher education. We proudly hold a place in the Top-25 of all UK universities.

Student recruitment at Royal Holloway is crucial to the ongoing success and reputation of the university and the Schools Liaison team are at the forefront of introducing Royal Holloway to prospective students. Focusing on the South East region, the Schools and Colleges Liaison Officer will be responsible for the organisation and delivery of innovative and professional support to future students as they travel through their higher education journey.

By developing close relationships with schools and colleges, you will prepare and present a range of talks and workshops to prospective students, their families and their teachers. You will also promote Royal Holloway at HE Fairs and UCAS Fairs and will need to proactively analyse trends and developments in secondary and vocational education in the UK.

Your ability to work independently, and to organise your busy workload, is crucial to the success of this role. Enthusiastic presentation skills, amicable personality and commercial awareness are also integral as you will be a key feature in maintaining Royal Holloway’s strong position in the HE marketplace.

Ideally you will be working in a student recruitment setting with another HE provider, although we are open to consider applicants who display the qualities and attributes discussed. As a minimum you must have a keen interest in higher education and be aware of the issues currently facing the sector.

This is a full time and permanent post, available from 28 October 2019 or as near as possible. This post is based in Egham, Surrey where the College is situated in a beautiful, leafy campus near to Windsor Great Park and within commuting distance from London.
