Children of the 90s, also known as the Avon Longitudinal Study of Parents and Children (ALSPAC) is a world-famous study of health and development that has been charting the lives of 14,500 families in the Bristol area since 1991. The role of an Engagement Officer is to retain and engage study participants using a variety of communications channels, including face to face, telephone, email and social media. Working as part of a small team, you will be an outstanding communicator, capable of clearly and confidently representing the views of participants, with experience of handling sensitive and confidential data and of working with people of all ages and backgrounds, including children. Public engagement activity and event planning are also key elements of this role. Please note this is a part-time role of 28 hours (4 days) a week.

The post is fully funded until 31 March 2020 and would preferably be worked over 4 days. The role involves some evening and weekend work.
