Research Software Engineer
This is an exciting position for supporting research in the London Medical Imaging & Artificial Intelligence Centre for Value-Based Healthcare Project. The AI centre is creating data and AI infrastructure based on open-source technologies such as XNAT, CogStack and ElasticSearch, and NiftyNet.
The successful candidate will be able to integrate modern search engine technologies with structured data and annotations derived with NLP methods. As part of their activities, the applicant is expected to contribute to the overall scientific endeavour of the Department of Biostatistics and Health Informatics and be embedded with the Precision Health Informatics data lab (https://phidatalab.org) led by Professor Richard Dobson.
This post will be offered on a fixed-term contract for 28 months.
