The Role

  • Fixed Term (up to September 2020), Full Time
  • $85,632 to $96,613 pa (plus 9.5% superannuation)
  • Bathurst or Wagga Wagga

You will be responsible for the coordination, delivery and evaluation of learning and development programs for Charles Sturt University staff to meet regulatory compliance requirements, build leadership capability and foster a values-based culture. The position requires a strategic focus and alignment with other people management functions and programs in a changing workplace environment.

With a dispersed workforce, the position has a strong focus on delivering quality online learning solutions and a coordination role in developing and implementing professional development and support programs, including annual refreshers, career planning, induction and onboarding.

To be successful you will have:

  • Relevant tertiary degree or equivalent experience in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of professional learning and development programs;
  • Excellent information technology skills to support a high-quality learning experience for staff and the capability to learn and utilise new online technologies as appropriate;
  • Highly developed written and oral communication skills, with the demonstrated ability to engage and collaborate with academic, professional and industry representatives to achieve desired learning outcomes; AND
  • Highly developed problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to operate efficiently as part of a geographically-dispersed team.
