The Post-Doctoral Researcher or Research Assistant will contribute as part of an interdisciplinary team to the SFI-funded Building City Dashboards project, undertaking fundamental and applied research on creating effective city dashboards.

The successful applicant will conduct the on-going evaluation and assessment of the dashboard and other multimodal tools, including guiding the iterative design process and developing low- and high-fidelity prototypes for new features. They will also lead the feedback and evaluation processes of the end of project exhibitions. To contribute to the iterative design process, the candidate is expected to have good design skills and experience of web design and implementation from a UX and UI perspective.

Salary Scales:

Research Assistant (Level 2): €30,358 - €35,218 per annum (7 points)
Postdoctoral Researcher (Level 1): €37,874 - €43,782 per annum (6 points)
Senior Postdoctoral Researcher (Level 2): €45,041 - €49,048 per annum (4 points)

Appointment will be made in accordance with the Department of Finance pay guidelines.

*New entrants to the public sector will be appointed on the first point of the above relevant scale.
