Applications are invited for the post of Senior Cyber Security Analyst in the IT Services Department...

Reporting to the Head of Cyber security, this new role will contribute significantly to Royal Holloway’s commitment to the systems that support the physical and electronic security of all our staff and students. Working closely with the technical service owners in the IT Services Department, as well as key stakeholders and external partners, you will ensure that the security architecture and systems are robust and up to date with current threats and that any security incidents are correctly dealt with and learnt from.

As well as a degree in computer science/cyber security, you will have a demonstrable experience in acting as a subject matter expert to an organisations cyber security provision. This will include an understanding of legal obligations as well as policy creation and review, an understanding of IT architecture from a security perspective and have led the response to security incidents.
