This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Estates Department team in a buoyant, Top 50, University. The working environment on campus is modern and vibrant, located in the beautiful historic city of Lincoln. The University has seen significant expansion in recent years and has plans and aspirations to grow further in the coming years. The University considers this vacancy will suit a Graduate with a property background and it will support a Graduate wishing to complete their APC and will offer a wide range of relevant professional experience in post.

The Estates Department is one of the highest spending areas of the University through its capital and revenue budgets. The Property Management Technician is responsible for managing and maintaining property data, undertaking day to day management responsibilities for the Estate including financial management, calculation of service charges and insurance rents, dealing with Landlord & Tenant matters and liaising with external professional advisors as necessary as well as liaising with staff at all levels across the University to ensure the successful delivery of the department's work.

The University has an ongoing commitment to develop and improve its existing property records and documentation and invest in its Estate through a capital plan which entails the completion of a number of multi-million pound projects both new build and refurbishment together with a host of minor capital and revenue projects. An opportunity has arisen for a Property Management Technician to provide proactive and supporting services with sound commercial management experience to support the department and play a key role in the successful delivery of property management across the University Estate.

For an informal discussion, please contact David Blanchard Strategic Property Manager on 01522 886461.
