Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated, exceptionally customer focused administrator with experience working in a complex customer-oriented, high volume transaction processing environment to assist students and other customers in the resolution of complex student enquiries. The successful candidates will be part of a diverse team which offers opportunities for team members to contribute to continuous improvement and develop relationships with colleagues across ECU. Although initially you will be assigned to a specific team that handles one aspect of student transactions (Admissions, Fees and Scholarships, Assessments and Student Records), you may be moved to other teams as the operational need arises, and/or to enable career development.  The current vacancy is in the Fees and Scholarships team.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills, experience and capabilities:

  • Experience in a complex customer-oriented, high-volume transaction processing environment responsible for academic, financial or non-financial type transactions.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyse and solve problems under pressure.
  • Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy.

Previous experience in the Higher Education industry, whilst not essential, will be well regarded.

You will also demonstrate personal attributes that are congruent with the University’s values of Integrity, Respect, Rational Inquiry and Personal Excellence.

Benefits & Remuneration

This full time ongoing position attracts remuneration of $64,161 - $68,440 pa plus 17% University superannuation contribution.
