Deakin’s School of Nursing and Midwifery is one of the largest in Australia and ranked in the top 28 universities in the world for nursing*. Established in 1987 we have grown to become one of Australia’s most research-active schools of nursing that includes an ambitious unique partnership network. The partnership network connects the School and Deakin’s Centre for Quality and Patient Safety Research with six major health services: Alfred Health, Barwon Health, Eastern Health, Epworth HealthCare, Monash Health, and Western Health.

Dedicated to providing undergraduate and postgraduate courses that reflect the current imperatives of contemporary nursing and midwifery practice, the school sits within Deakin’s Faculty of Health and provides a dynamic and encouraging learning environment. Students can be confident that they are receiving a world-class education that allows them to graduate job-ready and in demand.

We are excited to announce that we are accepting Expressions of Interest for academic positions (associate lecturer, lecturer, senior lecturer) throughout our school across Burwood, Geelong, and Warrnambool Campuses.
