Women’s 2nd Team Football Club Coach – St Mary’s University Twickenham

St Mary’s University are seeking a club coach for our student women’s football club. St Mary’s University Women’s Football Club 2nd team currently play within Tier 1 which is the second highest tier available to play at.

Salary: £2,502.50 (total 175 hours)

Contract:

Fixed term from September 2019 – March 2020 (some roles are extended past this date, see full job description for more details)

St Mary’s University is a high performance centre for sport and aims to maximise student engagement in sporting activity by increasing participation and sporting excellence, utilising our World Class Sports facilities. St Mary’s have recently developed a new Strategy for Student Sport (More than a Game) and aim to become a top performing British University & Colleges Sport (BUCS) institution.

We are looking for a passionate, experienced and inspiring coach for our women’s football club. The successful applicant will instil a professional culture within the club and set clear goals that will contribute to the growth and development of the team.

The post will involve working up to 8 hours per week, typically operating from September-March (sport dependent); comprised of coaching delivery, session planning, development work and fixture/competition attendance.

The closing date for all applications is at 23:59 on 15th September 2019, and interviews will take place shortly after this date, likely during the club’s weekly training slots.
